Ok, So we did survive Cyclone Yasi. It veered off down the coast just hours before it hit the QLD coastline. Unfortunately for the smaller towns like Tully and Mission Beach , which incidentally folks is where most of your bananas are grown, was totally trashed. We need to think about these guys and when asked for donations (check these are legit) please be generous. The cane growers and banana growers in these areas, only just got back on their feet after cyclone Larry in 2006. We will pray for a speedy recovery.
